For tackle collectors, Cabela's is offering The Simpsons Lures and the Heddon Original Wooden Lucky 13 .  I remember nailing more than a few bass on that one!  Be sure to also check out their home decor sections.  For camo decor items, they are in a class of their own.

Update: 10/26/03 - I started to write this article back on the 21st of October, but the deals are pouring in like crazy now.  I encourage you to visit all of the fishing merchants listed on USSFN.  Bass Pro Shops have updated deals constantly now and are being very proactive this year in an effort to attract holiday shoppers.  It must be working as they have my attention.  From state of the art tackle to apparel and gift ideas, they have it all.

The Sportsman's Guide and Bargain Outfitters (sister companies) are two more great places to find some bargains.  Known for deep-discounting items on a regular basis, be sure to check out their daily, weekly, and clearance items for great gift ideas in several categories.

West Marine also has a great holiday gift section that is not to be missed.  If you are searching for nautical items, you'll love their assortment.

Similarly, Boaters World has some excellent ideas for the angler on your list. 

Orvis and Eddie Bauer both have a complete assortment of upscale gifts, apparel, and home decor items that are sure to please even the most finicky person on your gift list.
