Shreveport's Cross Lake to Yield $800,000

Shreveport, LA:  9/4/02 - That will be the payout for the upcoming Wal-Mart FLW Championship to be held on Cross Lake in N.W. Louisiana.  There's no doubt that emotions will be mixed as the event is scheduled to start on 9/11.  The field of contestants will be made up of 48 pro anglers and 48 co-anglers.  The 24 fishermen lucky enough to remain after the first two days' elimination rounds will compete in the the final round Friday. - Jim
