Since introducing our first rod series just a few years ago, Outer Banks Outfitters Custom Power Stick rods have taken the world by storm with their unmatched quality, strength and durability. Built with all of the same performance you've come to expect from higher priced name brands, each of our rods are true fishing machines. Now, we have made dramatic improvements to each model in our selection. The Custom Power Stick line of stand-up rods features 5 different series, all of which offer superior values. Each rod blank is constructed from the highest quality, most advanced and powerful rod building materials. Flexible tubular E-Glass blanks are reinforced with graphite at known stress points, insuring you get incredible lifting power and uncompromising durability on our A series. Solid Performance Glass is used in the AR series while we used tubular E-Glass on the RS series. Quality Construction is visible in every detail. Only the finest guides, grips and reel seats are used on our Custom Power Sticks. Our rods feature Aftco rollers, the best quality roller guide made. A Series rods have all Heavy Duty Roller guides while AR series rods have all Regular Roller guides & tip tops. RS Series rods models feature a Regular Roller Stripper guide. Other guides on RS rods are PacBay Silver BHG Triple Foot guides with HIALOY inserts for smooth line travel and reduced line wear. Large Roller tip-tops on A & RS models rotate fewer times, creating less friction, and providing additional knot clearance. Each foregrip is constructed from a cushioned foam that resists deforming and offers a positive hold during long battles. On our A series you will find Stuart detachable machined, anodized aluminum butts with integral machined aluminum reel seats & gimbals. AR series rods feature our exclusive Quick-SetTM butt made from a durable composite material that is comfortable and easy to grip, yet many times tougher than EVA and incredibly abrasion resistant. Instant hook sets are possible due to the ease of removing Quick-SetTM butt from a rod holder. On our RS models, you will find a Smooth Graphite butt, a high strength, lightweight graphite composite butt grip. Featuring blank-thru-butt construction, this butt slides in and out of rod holders fast and easy. Each AR and RS model features a Pac Bay machined aluminum reel seat and hoods plus a machined aluminum gimbal. We were very exacting when we chose our Custom Power Stick wrap colors. We sought to offer you the best looking wraps available. Using only the finest metallic threads, each wrap is hand wound with a gold, red and Aquamarine pattern for superior contrast and beauty. Each wrap is carefully hand crafted, then given several coats of lustrous, clear epoxy for good looks and better durability.

Each rod in our offshore stand-up spinning series features one piece, heavy wall E-glass blank, with through butt construction. Stand-Up models feature anodized padded aluminum hoods on Graphite reel seats and Pac Bay Hialoy guides which are triple wrapped for long lasting performance. These great new rods showcase extra long EVA foregrips for superior stand-up fishing power and comfort and Quick-SetTM Butts made from a durable composite material that is comfortable and easy to grip but many times tougher and more abrasion resistant than EVA. Instant hook sets are possible due to the ease of removing this rod from a rod holder. All rods feature our deluxe aquamarine, red and gold wraps on glossy black blanks. In the finishing process, each rod receives multiple coats of epoxy for long lasting good looks.
